His work has been seen in Avocet\, Watershed\, The MacGuffin\, Temenos\, Haiku Journal\, Fragile Arts Quarterly and numerous other journals. His newest book\, a travel memoir with poetry\, is Vagabond Song: Neo-Haibun from the Peregrine Journals. A frequent performer of poetry and spoken word\, he has worked and recorded with a variety of jazz and rock musicians at venues across the country\, as well as on several public and independent radio stations. Originally from Michigan\, he now lives in Livingston\, Montana where he is co-owner of Elk River Books and artistic director of the Caldera Theatre Company.
