DESCRIPTION:Panhandle Health District invites community partners who have an interest in collaborating to reduce opioid misuse\, abuse\, and overdose within our region to our North Idaho Rx Opioid Solution Symposium.\nAt the Symposium\, you will hear the national\, state\, and local perspective on opioid misuse. Your involvement and interest in making North Idaho a safer and healthier place is appreciated. Together we can address this increasingly challenging issue.\n\nThe Symposium will feature two sessions. You are welcome to attend just the information session (session 1) or the information session and the work group session (session 2). The first session is an informational forum where we will provide national\, state and local perspectives on the opioid crisis. This session is open to everyone who has an interest in the topic.\n\nThe second session\, work groups\, we will be breaking everyone into smaller groups in order to further discussion and form solutions. The session is open to community partners willing to commit more of their time\, expertise\, and resources by serving in an opioid solution work group beyond this initial meeting.
