Join us for an insightful and critical discussion on the escalating threat of fentanyl in north Idaho. Part 1 of this forum featured an eye-opening presentation with alarming data on the widespread impact of this deadly drug across our state. From rising overdose rates to the devastating toll on families and communities, the urgency of addressing this crisis is clear and our panelists discussed the comprehensive efforts being undertaken at the national, state, and local levels to combat the fentanyl epidemic.
Part 2 of this forum will bring together a panel of esteemed healthcare professionals to delve into the pressing health challenges posed by the rise of fentanyl use in our community. These experts will provide a comprehensive overview of the current issues, trends, and biological impacts of fentanyl use. The discussion will encompass strategies for addressing behavioral health and substance use treatment, offering valuable insights into tackling this escalating crisis.
