"While some self-identifying artists struggle with “What is art” and “Who gets to call themselves an artist?” I have also wrestled with the inevitable question: “What do you do?” Do I draw, paint, sculpt? Yes. Traditional, digital and craft? Yes. Make art, write about it, teach it, manage arts programs? Yes. I have done a bit of everything, each thing informing the next in some way. Initially, it was coincidental, but now it is by design and as I look back from the vantage point of my 50s, I have come to see this as a way of life for me. A good way of life.

Art has been both my vessel and my compass in both making a living and a life through art. Let's talk about the journey together!"
