Workshop Presenter: Idaho Commission on Human Rights
Preparing to enter the workforce? This workshop will provide you insight to crucial information that will empower you as an employee.

Learning Objectives: Attendee will learn about sex-based equality in the workplace; pregnancy protections; LGBTQ protections under state and federal law. The gender pay gap will also be addressed. You will also be informed of what to do if you observe harassment, bullying, retaliation, or other forms of discrimination in the workforce.
Audience: 16 to 25 years old
This workshop is part of the Higher Education Resources and Opportunities (H.E.R.O.) program. The H.E.R.O. program is part of the AmeriCorps VISTA “Better Futures for Idaho Youth” project that is sponsored through United Way of North Idaho. The program is designed to work with individuals who are 16 to 25 years old that are struggling with career and college choices.
