About Us

Tesh, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, whose mission is to provide choices and opportunities to children and adults with disabilities. Tesh has been connecting with and walking the life journey with families in Kootenai County and the surrounding areas since 1976. We offer youth development and services, pre-employment, employment, independent living, and life skill services to individuals with disabilities of all ages who are seeking greater independence, self-sufficiency, and participation in their community. We are guided by core values of choice, dedication, integrity, progress, and quality.

Tesh is nationally accredited by CARF. CARF accreditation signals a service provider's commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community.

-Tesh's children's program provides services after school and on school breaks, including a nine-week summer day camp.
-Youth services include a Pre-Employment Transition Service (Pre-ETS) provider through the Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. The Pre-ETS program provides paid work experiences in the community for area youth.
-Adult Services include life skills training, independent living services, employment training, and job coaching support.
